Wood-Mizer Ukraine Sets National Record for Longest Cut

On July 25th, 2015 Wood-Mizer's Ukrainian representatives ‘MOST Ukraine’ celebrated Wood-Mizer’s 25th Anniversary in Kiev’s main market in an unusual way. They set up an LT15 sawmill with 10 bed extensions in order to cut a log 25.25 metres (82.8 feet) long! The goal was to establish a national record for the longest log cut, while using Wood-Mizer’s smallest sawmill model.

The massive log was loaded manually onto the LT15 by an Ukrainian Strongmen team, and the sawmilling was done by Olga Rosoha, Miss Student Ukraine 2015. Ukrainian media was present to officially document the event, as well as a representative for Ukraine’s National Record Registry, who issued MOST Ukraine a certificate for the record-breaking cut.
